Comhaltas Na No'g

"For the Youth, by the Youth"

"Everything is possible when seen through the eyes of the Youth"

Comhaltas no nO'g was set up in March 2004 as a sub-committee of Provincial Council to work alongside the Regional and Provincial Youth Officers in providing a voice for the Youth of Comhaltas in Britain. We would love to hear from you, what you think of Comhaltas, if and how you would change/improve it, or what events you would like Comhaltas na nO'g to organise to ensure the Youth voice is heard.

Ceoltoiri na Breatain is a youth music group from all over Britain run by Katie Jordan (from Birmingham). We've played at the All Ireland the past couple of years, and have done an exchange with a group from Munster and a group from Offally. There is an exchange planned in April with a group from Sligo. Ceoltoiri na Bretainne is open to musicians, singers and dancers aged 16 to 25. Anyone who would like to be part of this needs to send their name, date of birth, a bit about their musical journey so far (i.e. how long they've been playing/singing/dancing; if they've won anything or played anywhere) and a short demo (only 1 or 2 sets needed), to Katie Jordan kjordan_katie@hotmail.com<mailto:kjordan_katie@hotmail.com> or send it to me and I'll send them all off together. Anyone can apply as soon as they turn 16.
